1. Assassin’s Creed

Assassin’s Creed is the first self-titled game from the series released on November 13, 2007. Initially, it was available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, became available for Windows in April 2008. The story starts in the Third Crusade in the Holy Land in 1191 featuring the centuries-old struggle between the Assassins and Templars. The story revolves around a machine “Animus”, users can view the genetic memories of his or her ancestors with it.

The player Desmond Miles, assumes the role of Altaïr has to carry out a series of assassinations ordered by the leader, Al Mualim. In order to achieve his goal, Desmond Miles is bound to explore the virtual historic world of Masyaf, the kingdom of three cities – Jerusalem, Acre, or Damascus. Gameplay is much fun with many side objectives, like climbing tall towers to map out the city and saving citizens from guards.

2. Assassin’s Creed II

Assassin’s Creed II was released on 17 November 2009, which is the sequel of its previous title “Assassin’s Creed”. It’s the continuation of the previous story, the plot is based on Desmond Miles’s escape from Abstergo Industries with the help of employee Lucy Stillman. Following up next, Desmond Miles relives the genetic memories of his ancestor Ezio Auditore da Firenze using a new Animus.

The player Desmond with a mirrored name Ezio becomes an assassin after betrayal of his family. Then the player has to traverse through the vast major Italian regions and cities to carry out the action, stealth missions.

3. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood

The game plot starts right after the conclusion of the previous title “Assassin’s Creed II” featuring Ezio Auditore da Firenze. As the game begins, we see Ezio is now a master assassin with the ability to carry heavy weapons and advance combat skills.

Whereas the main objective is to destroy the Templar family and rebuild the Assassin Brotherhood in Rome. Aside from it, Ezio has to make the city come over the destructive effects of the Renaissance. 4. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is a 2011 video game from UbiSoft which is a direct followup to 2010’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. The story continues with Desmond Miles, previously he relived the memories of his ancestors in order to avert the 2012 apocalypse, renaissance. he is into a coma due to previous events from the brotherhood title. And to awake again he has to relieve the last genetic memories of his ancestor, Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

Ezio located Altaïr’s secret library in the past. The story focuses on his journey to unlock the vault in Masyaf using an “animus” machine containing Altaïr’s generic memories.

5. Assassin’s Creed III

The fifth installment from the series, Assassin’s Creed III was released in 2012. It’s a direct sequel to Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and the plot starts where the story ended in the previous title. As the player progresses on the game, it unlocks untold mysteries of Haytham Kenway and Ratonhnhaké:ton.

6. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, the sixth main installment in the Assassin’s Creed series is the sequel to 2012’s Assassin’s Creed III. The plot features a fictional history of real-world events revolving around the islands in the Caribbean Sea during the Golden Age of Piracy in the early 18th century.

The player plays the role of an Abstergo research analyst. Storyline of this game explores the Welsh pirate father to Haytham Kenway, grandfather to Ratonhnhaké:ton and Haytham Kenway, an ancestor of Desmond Miles. respectively. Thus main objective is the establishment of a Republic of Pirates utopia.

7. Assassin’s Creed: Rogue

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is one of the most popular Assassin’s Creed games from the series. It’s 7th installment from the franchise and follows up the unsolved mysteries left prom previous title. The game plot is set in the mid-18th century, follows the story of Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin-turned-Templar between 1752 and 1760, during the Seven Years’ War.

8. Assassin’s Creed: Unity

The 2014 sandbox action-adventure game, Assassin’s Creed: Unity got a massive positive response from the critics. Game plot is set in Paris, players take the role of Arno Victor Dorian. Thus the main objective is based on Arno’s investigation for the murder of his adoptive father. As the story revolves around the centuries-old struggles, Arno’s adoptive sister Élise de la Serre found to be a member of the Templars, his enemy. 9. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is the 9th installment from the Assassin’s Creed games franchise. Game story plot sets in in Victorian-era London in 1868, revolves around the story of twin protagonists. Players take the role of Jacob and Evie Frye, and take over the organized crime to build an army to free London. Eventually, they have to stop their rule and take back the city from Templar control.

10. Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Assassin’s Creed: Origins is the tenth major installment and a sequel to 2015’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The game primarily starts in Lower Egypt and eastern Libya near the end of the Ptolemaic period. It all starts with a Bayek, named Medjay who explores the century-long conflict between Assassin and Templars. Outside the objective, players can freely roam the open world and explore locations, complete side quests or even unlock “eagle vision” mode and new weapons.

11. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is the latest action-role playing game, 11th major installment from all 21 titles from UbiSoft. It’s the successor and sequel to 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins. The plot starts in the year 431 BC, resembles the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta. Players can play for both sides, and the main objective is to unite their family and uncover a malign cult.
